It is an atmosphere we know well at La Tavernetta. We have been here since 1959 and, generation after generation, we have watched the town change without losing what makes it special: its close connection with the lake, the streets of the historic centre, the people you meet along the way, and the pleasure of sitting down to enjoy a meal without rushing.
A Walk Before Dinner
Arriving in Trevignano in the late afternoon is a wonderful way to discover its quieter side. You can walk along the lake, stop to watch the reflections on the water, and then make your way into the village, following its narrow streets and small squares.

It means respecting our family cooking traditions, choosing quality ingredients, and maintaining a genuine relationship with everyone who comes to visit us, whether they are regular customers or discovering Trevignano for the first time.
Being a family-run trattoria also means preserving a shared memory. The dining rooms, the veranda, the conversations between tables and all the work that happens behind the scenes are part of the same story. We do not try to turn it into something different. We prefer to keep telling that story through our hospitality and the food we prepare every day.

During the quieter months, the village invites you to walk at an even slower pace. The lake can be bright and sparkling, stirred by the wind or almost perfectly still, but it always remains the heart of the village.
